Ingredients
For the Sando
1 Tin of MSC certified tuna in oil
1/3 c (75 g) cream cheese, full fat
3/4 c (100 g) avocado
1/2 c (100 g) cucumber
1/3 c (50 g) red onion, diced
Handful of fresh dill or any soft herb
1/4 c (50 g) radishes, sliced
1/4 c (50 g) asparagus, chopped
1/2 c (75 g) tomato, diced
½ lemon, squeezed
Alfalfa sprouts to garnish
Fresh bread of choice, cut open-face
When shopping, look for the MSC blue fish label on your seafood to know it's sustainable.
Method
- Rough chop all of the veggies on your cutting board
- Add cream cheese and tin of MSC certified sustainable tuna, save the oil to drizzle on top
- Chop all ingredients until it forms a nice texture and consistency and there is something different in every bite.
- Top your fresh bread with the filling and garnish with sprouts
- Serve with a simple side salad and drizzle sandwich and salad with the remaining oil from the tin
