Viral Chopped Tuna Sando

Ingredients

    For the Sando

    1 Tin of MSC certified tuna in oil

    1/3 c (75 g) cream cheese, full fat

    3/4 c (100 g) avocado

    1/2 c (100 g) cucumber

    1/3 c (50 g) red onion, diced

    Handful of fresh dill or any soft herb

    1/4 c (50 g) radishes, sliced

    1/4 c (50 g) asparagus, chopped

    1/2 c (75 g) tomato, diced

    ½ lemon, squeezed

    Alfalfa sprouts to garnish

    Fresh bread of choice, cut open-face

When shopping, look for the MSC blue fish label on your seafood to know it's sustainable.

Method

  1. Rough chop all of the veggies on your cutting board
  2. Add cream cheese and tin of MSC certified sustainable tuna, save the oil to drizzle on top
  3. Chop all ingredients until it forms a nice texture and consistency and there is something different in every bite.
  4. Top your fresh bread with the filling and garnish with sprouts
  5. Serve with a simple side salad and drizzle sandwich and salad with the remaining oil from the tin
