With the help of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) you can make sure you’re enjoying seafood sustainably by simply looking for the MSC blue fish label on fish and seafood products. It’s an easy and quick thing to do when you’re shopping, and it has a huge impact on the health of our oceans.

What does the MSC blue fish label mean?
The MSC blue fish label is a mark of scientific certification that lets you know the fish or seafood product comes from a wild-capture fishery that maintains sustainable fish stock levels and minimizes impacts to the marine habitats. It also means the labelling accurately reflects the species it claims to be, plus, you’re supporting fishermen, fishing communities and companies that work hard to end overfishing and maintain abundant ocean ecosystems.

Where can you find the MSC blue fish label?
Certified sustainable seafood is available at every price point and can be found at your local grocery store! Check the list below for easy-to-find options*. If your local grocer doesn’t carry the MSC certified options you want it’s a perfect occasion to let them know and leave a comment or ask the store manager!
