2022 GlobeScan Seafood Consumer Study

Research shows that environmental concerns are growing and support for sustainable seafood continues to rise

The Marine Stewardship Council conducts an extensive global survey every two years to understand evolving consumer perceptions about sustainability and seafood. In 2022, our research revealed a rise in eco-anxiety as American and Canadian consumers grew more concerned about the environment. However, they started to feel increasingly empowered to make a difference through their food purchases.
