MSC has begun a new outreach project to highlight MSC certified fisheries in the Americas Region and meet the desire by commercial partners for personalized stories, or vignettes, of certified fisheries that they can feature in their own marketing materials. The MSC is working with certified fisheries and commissioning videographers to capture the environment, activities and profiles of the fishers and communities representing each fishery. Collected stories and video will be used for multiple marketing purposes ultimately allowing consumers to gain a more humanistic and visual understanding of each MSC certified fishery and where seafood purchased in a commercial location is sourced from.
