We’ve been part of a team effort to keep oceans healthy and seafood sustainable for more than 25 years. Read about the impact we and our partners have made in our latest Annual Report.

Annual Report 2023-24

Despite the challenges of persistent high inflation and the cost-of-living crisis, our partners’ commitment to sustainable seafood remains stable. Over the past year we have seen steady growth in consumer awareness of the MSC label, sales of MSC labelled seafood, and fishery engagement with the MSC program.

Between 2023 and 2024, the number of fisheries engaged in the MSC program increased from 674 to 716. This growth contributed to an additional 460,000 tonnes of engaged catch, which brings the total catch weight to 15,480,000 tonnes, or 19.3% of all wild marine catch.
