Consumers are more conscious than ever about how their food choices impact the planet. But they are also weighing environmental concerns against price, health, and quality. So is the consumer’s appetite for sustainably sourced seafood holding up? How do millennials and GenZ view eating seafood, in comparison to other protein sources? And how do these developments vary by region?
2024's Seafood Futures Forum reveals new insights on these topics, fresh from the world’s largest survey of seafood consumers. Conducted by GlobeScan research agency on behalf of the MSC in February and March 2024, the findings are based on interviews with 25,000 consumers in 23 markets across the world.
